Oh yes, I'm pretty sure that this removal was long overdue for quite some time now. It's time to wave goodbye to the main antagonists of a certain French slapstick cartoon.

What's The Work?[]

Oggy and the Cockroaches is a French cartoon series about a turquoise cat fighting against a trio of cockroaches.

Who are They?[]

Dee Dee, Marky, and Joey and the main antagonists of the cartoon. They are a trio of cockroaches who frequently pester and mess around with Oggy for thrills.

Why Don't They Fit?[]

Well, its that simple: they don't meet enough basic traits.

First of all, the page currently lists them with 5 traits only, one less than the required number of six. And before you can bring up the other traits that are missing on the page, I would like to point out the trio don't meet any of those (the closest I can find is "Persistent" as they still heckle Oggy despite his constant attempts to purge them, but even then, putting Oggy's overall varying success at doing so, as well as sometimes them possessing special motives to harass him, it doesn't really fit).

To add even more reasoning to my belief that they should be cut, I would say that the "Naturally Talented" part doesn't really fit them at all as it mentions Dee Dee defeating an octopus much larger than him, and the trio overall being skilled at performing their usual antics. This doesn't really fit into the trait of "naturally talented", as Shonen Rivals who have that trait are meant to be more skilled and powerful than the hero at one or more fields (usually a part where the hero-rival pair is meant to be compared to such as battle power), especially given that the show's slapstick nature would require the trio to be good at those fields, while shonen rivals from more serious works are good at something that is not as important (to the point of contributing, rather than serving as an element of power/skill) toward the overall plot.

Verdict?[]

Time to chase this trio out of this wiki. Cut.
