What's the Work?[]
Spy X Family is a manga/anime written by Tatsuya Endo that follows the Forgers, a fake family of orphans all hiding major secrets from each other.
Who is He?[]
Daybreak is the self-proclaimed rival of Twilight, the greatest spy of Westalis, and strives to become more famous than Twilight himself.
What Makes Him A Shonen Rival?[]
- Heroic/Anti-Heroic/Anti-Villainous: He hopes to expose Twilight and stop him from remaining a threat to Ostania (Keep in mind that the SSS and the government see him as a threat to the country).
- Honorable: Daybreak seems to be genuinely loyal to his country which is why he opposes Twlight.
- Naturally Talented: Despite his general incompetence, Daybreak is actually incredibly strong physically as shown when he was able to hang on to a pole sideways and even knock out a disguised Twilight for a notable period, with the former feat even impressing Twilight himself.
- Arrogant: Daybreak considers himself a worthy opponent to Twilight and believes he is Ostania's greatest spy.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Daybreak hopes to carve a legacy greater than that of Twilight.
- Is A Serious Threat/Villain: Daybreak is the only Ostanian spy who knocked out Twilight cold without the latter being wounded.
- Short-Tempered: Daylight has a tendency to lose his composure when things don't go his way such as when he realized there was a guard to the safe and when he was fired.
- Wears Blue/Black: Daybreak wears a black suit and a blue sweater underneath.
- Is a Delinquent: Daybreak blatantly breaks laws without care as shown when he breaks a door to get in the safe room and walks in an incredibly suspicious manner.
