Miles Edgeworth, is the deuteragonist of the Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban/Turnabout Trial in Japan) franchise and the main protagonist of the investigations duology.

What Makes Him a Shonen Rival?

• Anti-Heroic/Anti-Villainous: Miles Edgeworth is trained by Manfred von Karma to become a ruthless prosecutor who would adopt questionable tactics to get a guilty verdict for the defendant. After he is defeated in court by Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth is motivated by him and eventually becomes a prosecutor to seek the truth.
• Honorable: Miles Edgeworth wanted to become a lawyer like his father when he was a pupil.
