Yes.
This is literally obvious (or this wiki wouldn’t be called the Shonen Rivals Wiki), meaning it is completely useless.
One thing that Shonen Rivals DO have in common that isn’t deadpan obvious is being a mentor.
Piccolo, Sasuke, and Zuko are good examples.

Yes for Aki, as despite his rivalry with Denji being brief, he still meets the criteria and is the mature one compared to that immature manchild that is Denji, which is virtually every shonen rivalry.
However, I am temporarily voting abstain for Katana Man, because of how shaky he is with the criteria.
Recently, I have discovered a massive issue on this wiki and the Shonen Villains Wiki, as they both allow anonymous users, while they are nowhere to be found on the Shonen Heroes Wiki and other 3 archetype wikis, so as a result, I have decided to make them one and the same and ban anonymous users from contributing here.

What's The Work?
Sonic the Hedgehog is a world-famous video game series created by Sega in 1991.
Who Is He?
Jet is a minor antagonist/ally of the series, first appearing in Sonic Riders, he is the leader and youngest member of the series and Sonic's third rival.
What Makes Him a Shonen Rival?
Anti-Heroic: Jet has put aside his rivalry with Sonic sometimes to defeat worse threats such as Eggman and the Babylon Guardian.
Honorable: Jet has shown a rather honorable side, at one point praising Shadow and Rouge's skills.
Arrogant/Jerkish: Jet is extremely cocky and a massive jerk, with a snide sense of humor
Pursues a Big-End Goal: Jet wishes to acquire as much wealth as possible.
Short-Tempered: Jet is extremely wrathful, and can throw fits over petty things.
Spiky Hair: Jet has spiky-mohawk like feathers on his head.

Verdict?
Yes for Jet. While he is not as notable as Shadow, he still meets the criteria.

Mega yes to Killua. Although I did want to propose Gon for a long time, it took me some time to decide whether Killua was his rival or not when I proposed him. However, seeing this proposal gives some claims on that status, I have finally closed my inner debate.
